This is the sound of an arrow pulling back and crashing a group of pots and pans or glass bottles. I was heavily inspired by a sound effect from “cartoon express”. Again, this was made from scratch like the last sound i posted. You can use this sound however you want. Just give me credit!.

I created this torture sound for a short film i made. I used a verse 504 labtech mic with a sony mini disc recorder in my garage. I smashed a cantaloupe with a hammer adjusting mic placement until i had the desired volume and sound.

Back again! this sound effect is of the lid of some kind of container (i don't even remember what!!) being popped on and off. There are two different sound effects (pulling the lid on, and pushing it back on). Hope you like it!. Thanks for letting me waste your time!. P. S. Hubcap rolling away from a car crash and rattling and clanging as it comes to rest. Actually, i needed the sound of a hubcap to add to an auto accident crash sfx and recorded this pot lid in my basement using my laptop computer, audacity, and an inexpensive condenser mic. Hubcap1 is the pot lid rattling around and coming to rest on the cement floor in my basement. (the mic was further away from the pot lid for hubcap1. ).

A collection of sounds, recorded at the fast-food parking lot. An uncommonly-warm day in the great north, the window was partway down so there is an outdoor ambient background. Straw is unwrapped and stuffed through the plastic lid of a drink, making its characteristic shriek. Remembering when as kids, four of us would sit around a table before the age of masking, and work the straws in the lids to generate a racket, i did that. This could be used as a cartoon-ish engine start failure, sounds like an old fiat. Then the crunching of a paper bag as a decadent burger is extracted.

Piano lid gently taps as it is opened and rests against the upper front board. Organic reverberations can also faintly be heard from the detuned strings. Possibly could be used for something interesting, it has a wooden bass drum sound. 100+ year old upright piano, microphone placed directly inside. (sample 1 of 4).
